Leaders from ECOWAS states gathering in Accra, Ghana, say they are prepared to intervene in Niger militarily, if all diplomatic overtures fail. Actually launching an intervention, however, is another complicated story. The World’s Carol Hills talks with Olayinka Ajala, a senior lecturer in politics and international relations at Leeds Beckett University, about the military discussions and strategic outlook ahead.
