Blinken and Lavrov to meet in Reykjavik

On Wednesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov will have their first face-to-face meeting on the sidelines of the Arctic Council gathering in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik. This meeting comes amid a tense period in US-Russia relations defined by sanctions, countersanctions, accusations and deflections.
