 This week marks the 60th anniversary of an ill-fated uprising against Chinese rule in Tibet. It was after that uprising in March 1959 that the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, the Dalai Lama, was forced to flee into exile. We hear from a Tibetan activist living in the US. Lhadon Tethong works with a group called the Tibet Action Institute.
