Biden brings Japan and South Korea leaders to breakthrough summit

The leaders of South Korea and Japan will meet with President Joe Biden at Maryland’s Camp David, a rural retreat for US presidents, on Friday. Biden is bringing together President Yoon Suk-yeol of South Korea and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to discuss how they can cooperate more on security matters. But that won’t be easy. The World’s Patrick Winn says simply getting the two leaders to spend a day together is a breakthrough.
