Belizeans are disinterested in coronation but are ambivalent about leaving the Commonwealth

In Belize, there was a lack of interest in the coronation of King Charles III, despite the fact that the nation is still part of the Commonwealth. The Prime Minister of the country said recently that he expects Belize will be the next nation to leave the monarchy behind entirely. But reporter Cherisse Halsall of 7 News Belize tells The World’s Marco Werman that many Belizeans, while indifferent to the pomp and circumstance, would feel unsafe without the Commonwealth.
