On Friday, a judge in Belarus sentenced a Russian citizen to six years in prison. The charge? Inciting social hatred. The country is a key ally of Russia. In February, Russian troops launched attacks into Ukraine moving south toward Kyiv from Belarus. Franak Viacorka has been following events in the country and spoke with host Carol Hills. He’s senior adviser to Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, a leader of opposition against President Alexander Lukashenko who has been forced into exile. He joins us from Oslo in Norway.
