A high-profile case of sexual harassment has been dismissed by a court in Beijing. A former television intern — Zhou Xiaoxuan sued her co-worker — a TV star, saying he assaulted her in a dressing room four years ago. Zhao and her case have been a focal point for China’s #MeToo movement, on the rise among young people in China, and countered by the Chinese government. The World’s host Carol Hill is joined by Leta Hong Fincher, to discuss the news. Fincher is the author of a book about feminism in China, called “Betraying Big Brother.”
