Southeast Asia is still being ravaged by COVID-19, with most countries’ borders more or less closed. In Thailand, COVID-19 has killed more than 15,000 people. Most cities are under some form of lockdown or curfew and the economy is in ruins. Anger toward the Thai government — accused of doing too little to halt the virus — is spilling into the streets. As The World’s Patrick Winn reports from Bangkok, authorities are struggling to silence a movement that is fed up with officials.
