Australians, young and old, are charging into marshes, lakes and streams, straining to capture that faint “ribbit” on their smartphones. It’s all part of Frog ID Week, a “citizen science” project launched by the Australian Museum in Sydney to help gather data for the conservation and protection of frogs.
