For the first time since March of 2020, Australia is reopening its border, at least partially. Since the start of the pandemic, Australia has had some of the world’s strictest border rules,.including banning its own citizens from leaving the country. Starting next month though, Australian citizens will be allowed to travel abroad. Anne Burtenshaw, an Australian expat with deep roots in Australia, joins The World with her reactions.
