Australia bans recreational vaping

This week, Australia announced it is banning recreational vaping to counter what some experts there say is an epidemic. Australia’s Health Minister Mark Butler says the products are targeted at youth and are creating a new generation of nicotine addicts in Australia. The sale of e-cigarettes will now be limited to pharmacies and require a prescription. Marco Werman speaks to Michael Siegel, a professor in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine about Australia’s choice and how it compares to other countries’ policies on vaping.
