As Turkish elections near, fate of Syrian refugees hangs in the balance

Both main candidates in Turkey’s upcoming presidential election have promised to send hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees back to Syria. Human rights observers warn that Syria is not safe for returnees, but Turkish voters are largely in support. For 3.6 million Syrians living in Turkey, their fate may lie in an election they cannot participate in. Durrie Bouscaren reports.
