Artificial womb to help premature babies 

Premature birth, or before 37 weeks, is the biggest cause of death for newborns globally. While incubators can save the lives of some premature babies, they can also leave them with long-term disabilities. Now, doctors in the Netherlands say they are within 10 years of developing an alternative — an artificial womb that could help babies born as early as 24 weeks. But, as the BBC’s Sofia Bettiza reports, the development also raises ethical questions.
