Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the monthlong anti-government protests that led to the resignation of former President Serzh Sargsyan, was nominated prime minister of Armenia on Tuesday. Journalist Grigor Atanesian has been following the ‘Velvet Revolution’ in Yerevan from his home in Columbia, Missouri. Atanesian spoke with host Marco Werman about how the political situation in Armenia unfolded and what’s to come with Pashinyan as the new prime minister.
