Apple opens first store in India

India opened the door to its first ever Apple store on Wednesday, signaling Apple’s growing presence in the country through retail and manufacturing sites. Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, was in town for the opening. Host Marco Werman spoke with economist Anusha Chari at UNC, Chapel Hill, about the significance of Apple’s emerging presence in India.
