Annapolis mayor on Capital Gazette shooting

The World

The community of Annapolis, Maryland, is still reeling from a shooting that left five members of the local Capital Gazette newspaper dead last week. The city’s mayor, who grew up in Australia, says he’s looking at the tragedy from an outsider’s perspective. “In Australia … there would be a national soul-searching after something like this. This wouldn’t just be Annapolis’ problem. It would be the whole country’s problem,” Mayor Gavin Buckley tells The World’s Carol Hills.
