Global sea levels are rising at unprecedented rates. In the next couple of decades, 200 million people could be displaced as a result of flooding and shoreline erosion, the UN projects. The problem is particularly dire in West Africa, where a large percent of the population lives on the Atlantic shore. The World’s Tibisay Zea reports from one coastal community in Senegal that’s wrestling with rising seas.
