Amid political repression in Nicaragua, even police and their families are fleeing

Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega is taking no chances in his bid for a fourth consecutive term in office this weekend. He has rewritten the constitution to allow him to stay in office indefinitely, and this year his government jailed all credible opposition candidates. The World’s Latin America Jorge Valencia reports on the country’s political repression and the forced migration that has occurred as a result.
