Iraq says coalition warplanes struck a pro-Iranian militia base last night on the border between Iraq and Syria. The raid was in apparent response to a deadly rocket attack on a coalition base near Baghdad yesterday. That attack left two Americans and a Brit dead. Many more were wounded.
