Afghanistan soccer’s #MeToo moment

 Khalida Popal, former captain of Afghanistan’s national women’s soccer team and two other players have accused members of Afghanistan’s Football Federation of verbal and sexual harassment. According to Popal, male representatives from the federation harassed women players at a training camp in Jordan. Then, when she investigated more, players told her about consistent abuse back in Afghanistan. Popal speaks with host Marco Werman about the allegations.
