Europe is experiencing the effects of extreme heat this week — with temperatures anticipated to climb above 104 degrees Fahrenheit across the Mediterranean from Greece to Spain. It’s bad news for people hoping to get out and enjoy the summer — local officials across southern Europe are telling folks to stay indoors and out of the scorching heat.
