A Brexit tale

The World

Ana Silvera is a British singer-songwriter who lives part of the year in Denmark. But once Britain voted to leave the EU, she knew she’d have to come up with a solution to continue to live in Europe. So, she began the process of acquiring a Portuguese passport — based on the fact that her Jewish ancestors were expelled from Portugal some 500 years ago. Leo Hornak has her story.
