Almost half the world’s oceans are experiencing a heat wave right now, and it could get worse before the summer ends. In some places, like the coast of Florida, ocean temperatures are in the mid-90s. To discuss the hot mess of marine heat waves, The World’s Carolyn Beeler speaks to Dillon Amaya, who is a researcher at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
