After widely discredited election results in October in Haiti, and the subsequent cancellation of two runoff contests, protests and demonstrations throughout the country forced President Michel Martelly to leave office over the weekend.
There's currently no plan to replace Martelly, and the question of succession remains open, something that's putting the nation in an uncertain predicament.
