Mitt Romney Issues Blistering Attack Against Trump

The Takeaway

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney took to the stage of the University of Utah on Thursday to urge Republicans to denounce Donald Trump.

"The only serious policy proposals that deal with the broad range of national challenges we confront today, come from Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich," Romney said of Trump's Republican challengers. "One of these men should be our nominee."

The former Massachusetts governor did not hold back.

"Here's what I know: Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University," Romney said.
