Life in Idlib, Syria

Idlib is the last rebel-held stronghold in Syria. For weeks, civilians there have been anticipating an attack by Syrian government forces and their Russian and Iranian allies. Reporter Rasha Elass spoke with some Syrians in the city about what's happening there.

A truce for Idlib?

The US and the international community have repeatedly warned of a humanitarian catastrophe if Syrian government forces attacked the last major rebel stronghold of Idlib, as they are poised to do. On Monday, Russia and Turkey announced a deal to avoid an assault and create a demilitarized zone.
