The attack at a mosque in the Sinai killed more than 300 people, at least 27 of whom were children.

The trial of Egypt’s deposed president Mohammed Morsi was postponed today until next month. Morsi is charged with inciting the murder of demonstrators back in 2012. And the government recently branded his party, the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization. In Egypt, politics and religion have long been intertwined.
