Violet Law is a journalist with one foot in print and digital media and the other in public radio. A Hong Kong native who lives in Chicago, she most recently reported from China for the Los Angeles Times. Her work has aired on WBEZ (Chicago) and WYEP (Pittsburgh) and has appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, The Economist, The New York Times, The Progressive and Utne Reader.
