Sofia Perpétua is an award-winning video journalist and an internationally-published writer. In 2016, she became a freelance journalist when she moved to Rio de Janeiro to work on the coverage of the Zika crisis for The New York Times. She later worked as an International Communication Consultant for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
