Katia Savchuk is a Kaiser Global Health Fellow at GlobalPost. She's written for the Miami Herald, the Village Voice, The Center for Investigative Reporting and other publications. She has a B.A. from Harvard University, a M.S. from the London School of Economics and a M.S. from Columbia University, where she was a fellow at the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism. Previously, Katia was a private investigator and international development consultant.
