Isabel Vázquez is a bicultural Puerto-Rican/American producer, storyteller and curious listener from central Illinois. Isabel moved to Chicago after living in Indonesia, where she taught English and got in only two motorbike crashes. She currently is the Assistant Producer of Re:sound, the radio show/podcast of the Third Coast International Audio Festival, and runs the ethnic and community media project at Public Narrative. Previously, she worked as the StoryBooth Intern at StoryCorps in Chicago. In her spare time, Isabel likes to marathon Bollywood movies, explore different neighborhoods in Chicago and teach family members how to download podcasts.
