The Biden administration is expanding and extending its temporary protected status order for Venezuela. That includes nearly half a million Venezuelans currently in the US. It will allow Venezuelans to work, with the Biden administration hoping it will provide financial relief to cities and towns across the US dealing with the influx of migrants. The World's Carol Hills spoke with Laura Dib, program director for Venezuela at the Washington Office on Latin America, about the the domestic situation in Venezuela right now and how it’s helping to fuel the migrant crisis.
