Human rights concerns ahead of elections in Guatemala

Multiple politicians, activists and human rights organizations are denouncing the deterioration of democracy in Guatemala ahead of a presidential election set for June 25. Dozens of journalists, judges and persecutors have been imprisoned, or forced into exile, while several opposition candidates are now barred from running for office. The World’s Tibisay Zea reports.
