After deadly month in Haiti, the US and Canada weigh intervention

More than 200 people have been killed in gang-related violence in Haiti since the beginning of the month. During President Joe Biden’s recent visit to Canada, he spoke with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about the possibility of a military intervention. Host Marco Werman spoke with Ambassador Daniel Foote, former US special envoy to Haiti, about what all this could mean for the country.
