The World

Aïda Muluneh grew up living in a number of places around the world, including Ethiopia, Yemen, Cyprus and Canada. When a teacher lent her a camera at a high school in Calgary, she fell in love with photography. Now, her work is being presented in public art displays on bus shelters in Boston, Chicago, New York and Abidjan. The World's Bianca Hillier speaks with Muluneh to hear the inspiration behind the series, "This is where I am."
