The World

A stunning result in Dutch politics on Thursday as a farmers' party is set to be the most represented in the upper house of Parliament. The group, known as the Farmer-Citizen Movement, started in 2019 in response to widespread protests by farmers reacting to environmental regulations they believed were harmful to their businesses. She speaks to The World's Marco Werman from her home in Amsterdam.
