From Washington to Warsaw, Volodymyr Zelenskiy has won praise as a heroic defender of democracy in the face of Russian aggression. He’s immensely popular in Ukraine too, with something like 84% saying they trust him, according to one poll. And that's rare in a country where people tend to distrust political leaders.
