The women’s national soccer team in Canada is demanding equal pay

Canada’s women’s national soccer team has had an incredible few years on the field. Now, the reigning Olympic champions are getting ready for a highly anticipated FIFA World Cup tournament this summer — and they think they can win it. But athletes say recently announced budget cuts from the country’s national federation, Canada Soccer, will threaten their team’s ability to properly prepare.
