Archaeologists have found gems that were lost 2,000 years ago in a Roman bathhouse in modern-day Carlisle in the UK. How were the gems lost? Down the drain, of course. The gems contain intricate engravings of Roman deities and tell a story about the ancient people who wore them. The World’s Anna Kusmer reports.
