A lucrative, free-trade deal with the US would be one of the big bonuses of leaving the European Union, pro-Brexit campaigners told the British public before the 2016 referendum. Six years later, Britain is in recession, inflation is at a 40-year high and that lucrative trade appears further away than ever. So, what went wrong? The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
