Bangladesh struggles to keep the lights on

As an energy crunch caused by the Ukraine war looms over Europe, its shock waves are reverberating as far away as Bangladesh, a country with a very fragile economy. Global fuel shortages are making it impossible for Bangladesh’s government to keep the lights on 24/7. And blackouts are costing jobs and pushing laborers to the brink.
