Modern-day slavery persists

The World

Modern slavery occurs in almost every country in the world, and cuts across ethnic, cultural and religious lines. A new United Nations report reveals that since the last global survey in 2016, 10 million additional people are trapped in forced labor or forced marriages. Host Marco Werman speaks with Grace Forrest, co-founder of Walk Free, an international human rights group based in Australia, which collaborated on the report.
