Cold War spies were klezmer musicians

At the height of the Cold War, people went to extreme lengths to smuggle information in and out of the Soviet Union. Some of the most daring were members of Boston’s Klezmer Conservatory Band, who were trying to help Jewish members of the Phantom Orchestra escape.
