Social unrest is something Danilo Perez has seen before in Panama. He's one of the country's cultural ambassadors and is also the founder of the Panama Jazz Festival. Recent protests there have made planning the festival a challenge, and also brings to mind another moment in Panama's history when politics and music met. Perez speaks to host Marco Werman.
