Wine-making traditions from the Azores right here in the US

Settling in a new country means adopting new ways of living while trying to maintain many of the traditions from back home. For immigrants from the Portuguese islands of the Azores, that includes preserving a centuries-old technique for making wine. It’s a tradition some families have kept alive in the US for decades now.
