Rwandans react to the United Kingdom’s controversial plan to send migrants to their country

The UK recently launched a plan to send asylum-seekers to Rwanda as part of efforts to curb illegal migration. Seven men were on a plane to Rwanda in June when the flight was halted by European courts. Refugee advocates call the whole idea inhumane, and say the UK should not push the responsibility to care for asylum-seekers to another, less resourced country. But Rwandan officials say they were ready to receive the migrants. Ridwan Karim Dini-Osman reports from Kigali, Rwanda, on how people there feel about welcoming migrants who were trying to reach the UK.
