Uvalde shooting hits close to home in Pakistan

Shareera Jalil is a Rhodes Scholar from Pakistan. In May of 2018, she and her cousin, Sabika Sheikh, were both exchange students in the US. That’s when Sheikh was gunned down in a school shooting in Sante Fe, Texas. Jalil looks back on her cousin’s death, and reflects on what she’s learned since about gun violence in the United States.
