Ghanaians and environment advocates angry about possible sale of forest reserve

Many Ghanaians have been livid on social media after news came out that President Nana Akufo-Addo has granted executive approval for one of the country’s few surviving forest reserves — the 92-year-old Achimota Forest Reserve, which has been classified as protected since 1930 — to be redeveloped and sold for other purposes.
