Kharkiv under attack as Russia prepares for second phase of war against Ukraine

On Friday, Rustam Minnekayev, acting commander of Russia’s central military distric,t was quoted by Russian news agencies, saying that the goal of the second phase of the war is to “establish full control over Donbas and southern Ukraine.” Russia also continues its assault on other parts of eastern Ukraine, including Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-biggest city.
