Inshallah: A meditation on hope and a better future

This week, we were touched by an essay about the word inshallah, a commonly invoked Arabic expression that translates in English to “if God wills.” While the word has come to mean many things to many people, writer Abdullah Shihipar says for him, it’s ultimately an expression of humility and hope.
